Compare the 392 models when V8 response is a priority. Their higher output does not give them the highest Wrangler trailer rating.
The useful comparison: The V6 adds 15 horsepower over the turbo, while the turbo adds 35 lb-ft of torque over the V6. Those differences do not tell you everything about driving feel, so compare the two on the kind of roads you use regularly.

2-door Wrangler
The two-door layout is one of the Wrangler's defining choices. Try rear-seat access and the space for the items you carry, then confirm that its up-to-2,000-lb towing rating fits your plans.

4-door Wrangler
The four-door layout gives rear passengers their own doors. It is also the body style to start with for the selected configurations capable of towing up to 5,000 lb.
Fuel tank: 21.5 gallons.
Before choosing a trailer: Confirm the tow rating and payload limits for the vehicle you intend to buy. A Wrangler model name, engine output or aftermarket accessory is not a substitute for that rating.
Command-Trac, Selec-Trac and Rock-Trac Explained[5], [2]
There are four system choices because Rock-Trac is offered in both part-time and full-time versions. System availability depends on the Wrangler configuration.

Understand the difference between 4H and 4H Auto
2H: normal dry-road driving
Use two-wheel-drive high range on clear, dry roads when operating a part-time system. It is the normal road setting, not an indication that the vehicle lacks four-wheel drive.
4H: suitable loose or slippery surfaces
Part-time four-wheel-drive high range keeps 4WD engaged. Use it only on appropriate surfaces and follow the restrictions for the vehicle's transfer case.
4H Auto: automatic traction management
On a full-time system with this mode, torque distribution responds to traction needs. This is different from leaving a part-time transfer case locked in 4H.
4L: slow-speed low-range work
Low range is for demanding, slow-speed conditions such as rock crawling. The shifting procedure and operating limits depend on the transfer case and transmission.
Use the instructions for your system. Transfer-case shifting procedures and restrictions are vehicle-specific. Review the Owner's Manual before using low range or flat-towing the Wrangler.
Off-road images show selected configurations. Drive responsibly in approved areas and stay within the vehicle's limits.
Trail Rated Capability: More Than a 4x4 Badge[2], [5]
Every 2027 Wrangler is Trail Rated, with capability evaluated in five categories. Maximum measurements still depend on the body style and equipment.
Traction

Willys 392
Willys with HEMI V8 power
Willys 392 brings the 6.4L HEMI SRT V8, rated at 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. It has standard 17-inch machined beadlock wheels with black pockets.
Its maximum towing capacity is up to 3,500 lb when properly equipped. It is a different configuration from a non-392 Willys rated for up to 5,000 lb.
MOAB 392
